Lumia-925-8.1

French carrier SFR reports that they will start rolling out the Windows Phone 8.1 firmware update on the 8th July 2014.

The 150 MB update will be available over the air, and will be followed Cortana in early 2015.

Besides the Windows Phone 8.1 update, the firmware will also fix two bugs; the incorrect wording when the automatic configuration of Exchange accounts do not work and the count of missed or rejected calls not always being accurate.

Nokia has already started rolling out the update to Lumia 925 owners in Finland and Argentinian as a pilot, and it seems lucky owners of that handset will be the first recipients worldwide.
