It seems we can now see the shape of Verizon’s promotion of their Windows Phone 8 handsets.

The ad for the HTC 8X, which aired during college football games shows users frustrated by confusing user interfaces on other devices and then enjoying how intuitive the HTC 8X is.

An earlier ad for the Nokia Lumia 822 claimed “there is not much to learn, as it is powered by Windows” and shows a user throwing away a manual, putting forward the same message that Windows Phones are easy to use.

Do our readers think this message will resonate with buyers, or would an alternate message of speed, which is already ingrained by the Smoked by Windows Phone campaign, have been better? Let us know below.
