03profileselectionThe Samsung Omnia 7, which is sold as unlocked device in some areas, have been having an issue where the device will not have MMS settings for many carriers, resulting in the device not being able to send MMS messages, with no way for the end user to fix it.

The issue was so bad that a homebrew jailbreak app was developed to solve the problem.

Now is appears Samsung has officially responded by updating their Network Tool, allowing MMS settings to be implemented for many more carriers.

Updating the software is of course the correct response to such an issue, and we commend the company in reacting relatively quickly.

The update can be found here.

Thanks Philipp for the tip.
