Externally the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be largely the same as the Note 8, but internally one of the biggest improvements will be the new, much larger 4000 mAh battery (compared to only 3,300 mAh in the Note 8).

Now in a teaser video for the 9th August announcement Samsung has highlighted this change, showing that Note 9 users will not have to do all the things most smartphone users need to to manage their battery life.

Besides the much bigger battery, the Note 9 will feature an improved camera with dual-aperture optics, a Bluetooth-enabled S-pen with a number of new tricks, a faster Snapdragon 845 processor and more RAM and storage (up to 6 GB RAM and 512 GB storage).

Update: Samsung has now released videos referencing those improvements also:

Most of this will not be enough to convince Note 8 users to upgrade, but the last Note 6 and earlier stranglers who held out due to the small battery in the Note 8 should be tempted to make the jump to what is expected to be Samsung’s most expensive handset to date.
