Samsung has rolled out a new update for the Calendar app for Galaxy S8 and Note 8. The latest update adds the ability to use stickers while adding an event to the calendar. This feature was earlier available on S Planner and is now added to Samsung Calendar as well.

The new update will give users a new way to save new events to the Samsung Calendar. However, there is very little practical use of the feature unless you love decorating your calendar with stickers. Nevertheless, this will give Samsung an edge over other calendar apps and could conceivably make it easier to pick out some appointments over others.

Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 users will receive the update soon. Since it’s not a staged rollout, make sure you check for updates manually if you don’t receive the update in a couple of days. Also, calendar apps from both Google and Microsoft are a good option if you’re looking for alternatives.
