Samsung Omnia W to be a rather pathetic device has leaked Samsung roadmap for the rest of the year, and it reveals one Windows Phone 7 handset, the Samsung Omnia W, set to be released by October 1st.

For a second generation Windows Phone 7 handset the specs are extremely underwhelming.  The handset apparently features a 1 Ghz processor, 512 Mb RAM, 3.7 inch screen, and 5 megapixel camera.

The handset is expected to the the successor to the Samsung Omnia 7, and may be the Samsung GT-i8350 which has recently passed through bluetooth certification.

Hopefully there will be more and better Windows Phone 7 handsets from Samsung, and this is just a low-end play, else Samsung might as well remain outside the Windows Phone 7 game, at least in Europe.
