While Samsung has already launched this year’s flagship, it looks like the company is still working hard to improve the user experience of last year’s devices. With the latest update, Samsung has enabled the use of GIFs on Always-on display.

According to SamMobile, users can now place a short GIF to be played when the display is on standby but isn’t covered. The GIF plays only once, though users can double-tap the play area to have it repeat. The feature is currently available for Galaxy S8 and Note 8 devices and there’s no word on if the feature will make its way to older S7 and S7 Edge.

While many users complain of Samsung feature bloat, it is these nice touches which makes it loved by its users and makes it the largest phone OEM in the world.
