Samsung Galaxy Fold had a tough journey ever since its launch earlier this year. However, the company managed to fix the device and earlier this month, Samsung Galaxy Fold was launched in Korea. Post-launch, the Galaxy Fold sold out in minutes in Korea and Samsung confirmed that the device will launch in Germany and the UK on 18th September.
The company didn’t share any details on when the device will be available in the US. However, a recent chat with an AT&T employee revealed that the device will be launch in the US on September 27. The conversation screenshot was shared by Evleaks who confirmed that it was sent to him by a follower. The customer service representative confirmed that the release date is set to September 27 but AT&T is not taking pre-orders at the moment. The same information has been provided on the AT&T website so it’s safe to assume that the device will be launching on September 27.
While Samsung Galaxy Fold marks the start of a new era, the smartphone is still not made for everyone. Apart from the steep price tag of $1980, the Galaxy Fold also requires extra care and a recent video from JerryRigEverything proved that the device is anything but sturdy.
