Samsung launches Galaxy Note 9 in India, price starts from 67,900

On August 9, Samsung introduced the world to Galaxy Note 9 and today the company announced the device for the Indian market. Samsung held an event in Delhi where they announced Galaxy Note 9 along with Galaxy Watch.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 features a massive 6.4-inch QHD+ display and it comes with a Bluetooth-enabled S Pen. Another major highlight is support for up to 1TB of storage on the smartphone. The device is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9810 SoC, coupled with 6GB and 8GB RAM options. In terms of storage, the Galaxy Note 9 has 128GB and 512GB of onboard storage options that both are expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB).
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 starts from 67,900 INR for the 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant, while the 8GB RAM/ 512GB storage variant costs 84,900 INR. Samsung said the smartphone will be available from August 24, though it’s already available on online stores. Customers can buy the smartphone via Amazon India, Flipkart, Paytm Mall, and the Samsung Mobile Store online, and is also available from offline stores. The Galaxy Note 9 is also available via Airtel, at a downpayment of 7,900 INR.
The launch offers include 6,000 INR cashback on HDFC Bank credit and debit cards, as well as HDFC Bank no-cost EMIs. There are other no-cost EMI offers available, as well as an additional 6,000 INR exchange discount on select models. Similar offers are available on both Amazon India and Flipkart. Customers can also get 6,000 INR Paytm cashback on buying via Paytm Mall.
Apart from Note 9, Samsung also announced the Galaxy Watch for the Indian Market. The Galaxy Watch features an AMOLED display with Gorilla DX+ Glass on top and an Always-On Display. The smartwatch is water resistant and will be offered in two sizes – 42mm and 46mm – along with several strap options. Samsung didn’t reveal the pricing or availability of Galaxy Watch.
