Samsung Epix unboxed, looks nothing like the i780

The BGR has unboxed the soon to be released Samsung Epix, and in the process revealed a major disappointment – the device is built like a brick.
While the the Samsung i780 is a slim 12.9 mm, the AT&T bound Epix is much, much thicker (as can be seen from the pic above), and lacks any styling to try and disguise the fact.
The BGR photos also confirm a very confusing fact – the Samsing Epix’s numeric designation is SGH-i907, similar to the i900 of the Samsung Omnia, rather that is more fashionable cousin, the SGH-i780. Of course the specs (HSDPA, 320×320 screen, optical mouse, GPS)Â remain identical to the i780.
