AusWinPhone reports that the Samsung ATIV S has gone on pre-order at online retailer MobiCity for Aus$ 699.
The 16 Gb expandable device with its giant 4.8 inch screen is priced somewhat more than the Galaxy S 3 at $539, but prices should drop soon after launch.
The handset is compatible with the 3G networks of Optus 3G, and Telstra/Vodafone Next G frequencies. No delivery date was specified, but the handset will likely be available soon after the 29th October
