Samsung today announced the new Notebook 9 Pro, a laptop with a 360-degree hinge, built-in S Pen and fast charging support. Samsung Notebook 9 Pro comes in both 13.3-inch and 15-inch touchscreen display versions.
Both the versions will be powered by Intel 7th Generation Core i7 processor, 8GB RAM on the 13-inch model, 16GB RAM on the 15-inch model comes and both featuring 256GB SSD. While the 13-inch model comes with Intel integrated graphics, the 15-inch model comes with AMD Radeon 540 Graphics with 2GB GDDR5 Graphic Memory. It comes with a USB Type-C port which can be used for charging the device and it also supports fast charging. It also comes with IR camera that supports Windows Hello for easy authentication.
The main highlight of the device is its built-in S Pen that allows for a great inking experience. With a 0.7mm tip, it can detect more than 4,000 levels of pressure and the impressive tilt lets you write or draw in the most comfortable position. It also comes equipped with Air Command software that lets you take notes, edit documents, and draw. Unlike Surface Pen, the S Pen always stays on and never requires any charging.
It is disappointing to see Samsung limiting itself to 1080p display on both the models. However, the Full-HD touch screen is equipped with RealView Display to deliver professional grade color accuracy, brightness and wide viewing angle clarity for up to 178 degrees.
