Back in August, Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Note 10 Plus, Galaxy Note 10 5G and Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G. While this might seem a little too much to an average consumer, Samsung felt that they weren’t giving users enough options. So, the Korean giant went ahead and launched another variant of Galaxy Note exclusive for Korea.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Samsung will be marketing the blockchain variant of Galaxy Note 10 as โKlaytnPhone.โ For those who don’t know, the phone is made in partnership with a South Korean company, Kakao. Kakao is a messaging company and the phone has been developed by the blockchain arm of the company. The KlaytnPhone will have the same features and specs as normal Note 10 but will come with crypto wallet and blockchain apps built-in. The wallet will come loaded with a certain amount of Klay, a cryptocurrency made by Kakao.
The price of the phone is expected to be the same as the normal Galaxy Note 10. The only difference will be the inclusion of crypto wallets and blockchain apps. The Wall Street Journal also reported that the device might show ย Klaytn logo when the user boots it up. There’s no word on the availability of the device and if we will see similar versions in other parts of the world.
