Microsoft Office 365

VK (VKontakte), Russia’s most popular social network, today announced integration with Office 365 services. VK users can now directly view Office files which are in * doc, * .docx, * .xls, * .xlsx, * .ppt and * .pptx file formats stored in their VK Document account using Office Online. Instead of downloading Office files to their devices, VK users can now directly click the files to open in Office Online viewers. If they open from a mobile device, the file will be opened through Office mobile apps. Microsoft and VK are also planning to enable the ability to edit files in the future.

“Students exchange abstracts, entrepreneurs are sent presentations to clients, managers send contracts, without using e-mail. Now you can work with documents without leaving the social network without having to install additional software and applications “, said head of the back-end development of “VKontakte” Alexander Konstantinov.
