Reliable French Windows Phone site SmartphoneFrance.info has some new insider information about the upcoming Lumia 950 and 950 XL.
From their sources the handset is expected to be announced on the 6th October, with pre-orders opening soon after, and delivery starting on the 28th October.
They also report the devices will be on the expensive side, similar but slightly cheaper than the iPhone 6s and 6s plus.
Microsoft however intends to make up for this by bundling in 200 Euro worth of accessories. For these devices we can only suspect it will be the Continuum dock and Wireless charger, though other accessories such as wireless speakers may also be included.
Such a move would not be unprecedented, with the Lumia 930 also being delivered with a similar bundle for a limited time last year.
From the list of leaked accessories, Codename Valora is a new Treasure tag with a new feature called âMotion Guardâ, which will alert you when an item you tagged is moved.
Codename Ivanna/Livanna is a Bluetooth speaker like the Nokia MD12 while Codename Murano appears to be a Miracast reciever.
Codename Munchkin is the Continuum dock, which features 3 USB ports (one likely USB-C), an HDMI and Displayport port and also a port for an independent power supply to charge your phone.
SmartphoneFrance also report that their sources say in real life the device has a premium feel, despite the polycarbonate, necessary due to the build-in wireless charging.
Would such a generous bundle take the sting out of the high price for our readers? Let us know below.
