Update: Psyonix released its anniversary update on July 5. The patch includes a new arena, Rick and Morty customization items, Rocket League Radio and more. The game now has over 34 million players and is still growing!
Rocket League is an already fantastic game but what would make it even better? Well, think long and hard. How about Rick and Morty? Yes, in celebration of their second anniversary, the developers are bringing Rick and Morty to the game. Rick and Morty is an absolute sensation at least here in the United States and people can’t get enough. While we don’t know when the new season is going to come out, at least we can experience them in Rocket League.
According to the developers, “Thanks to our friends at Adult Swim and Adult Swim Games, Rick and Morty (with friends in tow) will be available as free customization items starting on July 5.” It’s great to know that the wait won’t be too long. Just as the 4th of July wraps up, we’ll be playing in Rick and Morty-themed vehicles!
