Back in March, Microsoft announced a major reorganization inside the company with changes to its executive leadership and the formation of two new engineering teams. Last month, we reported on some more reorganization news. Last night, Mary Jo Foley from ZDNet reported another round of reorganization within Microsoft. She reported two key changes:

  • Edge development team is now part of Experiences and Devices team. After March reorganization, it was under Windows engineering organization lead by Jason Zander.
  • Microsoft Corporate Vice President Kudo Tsunoda is no longer leading the New Experiences and Technology group which has products like Paint 3D, Photos app and more. The good news is that Tsunoda is not leaving the company and he is looking for a new role inside Microsoft.

As expected, Microsoft declined to comment on these changes. We will update the post when more information merges online about this latest reorganization.
