Razer's new webcam comes with a built-in ring light

Razer is releasing a new webcam today, targeted towards streamers. The company’s new Kiyo is a desktop webcam that comes with a built-in ring light. The Razer Kiyo comes in an interesting design which you can see above. The ring light has 12 adjustable brightness levels, and the webcam itself can record 720p videos at 60FPS or 1080P videos at 30FPS. Razer says the camera comes with fast and accurate autofocus, with support for popular streaming software like OBS and Xsplit.

The Razer Kiyo, unfortunately, does not support Windows Hello which is a bit disappointing. But Razer isn’t targetting this towards Windows 10 users only, so the lack of Windows Hello may not be a big deal for some. Razer Kiyo will cost you $99 in the United States and €109.99 in Europe — you can get one here. If you are looking for an alternative, the Logitech BRIO is a solid webcam that comes with Windows Hello support and a 4K camera — but that costs $100 more than the Kiyo.
