Microsoft didn’t release a new build of Windows 10 to Windows Insiders last week due to a blocking bug. Releases of Windows 10 Insider builds being delayed or cancelled due to blocking bugs isn’t unusual, and happens quite often. But only once in a while, we get to see releases of new builds being delayed or cancelled for an entire week. Just like last week, Microsoft isn’t going to be releasing a new build of Windows 10 to Insiders this week either.

Windows Insider Program’s head Dona Sarkar today confirmed on Twitter that an installation bug is causing the delay. Sarkar said the bug resulted in a Blue Screen of Death (aka Green Screen of Death for those running Insider builds) and it was “too impactful.”

Microsoft did release a new build of Windows 10 Mobile last week, so Windows Phone fans will hopefully have something to look forward to this week. But if you only care about PC builds, you’ll have to wait until Monday.
