In many enterprise settings, many web applications are still built on Internet Explorer.

While the new Edge (Chromium) does allow one to open pages in IE, Microsoft has been working on something better, that would allow instances of IE to run as proper tabs in Edge.

Today Neowin reports that the feature is now available in the latest Edge Canary and Dev buids.

To enable the feature go to Edge://Flags and search for and toggle ‘Enable IE Integration’ . The feature is then available via the More Tools menu in Edge.

At present, the feature appears not to be available for all, and may require Insider builds of Windows. Are our readers able to activate it? Let us know below.
