Microsoft today unveiled the new Surface Laptop running Windows 10 S. This Surface is a traditional clamshell laptop that eschews the convertible form factor of the previous Surfaces for something more traditional. Instead of Windows 10 Pro, it comes out of the box running Windows 10 S with a free upgrade for the first few months and is the first of a whole breed of devices Microsoft hopes will cement it a place in education. You can read more about it here, here and here.

Microsoft is selling the device from $999 for the i5/4GB/128GB base variant and it will be available for delivery at homes from June 15th later this year.

If you want to snag it, you can pre-order it from Microsoft’s online Store from the Store link here.
