The release of Pokémon Sword and Shield is only a few months away and Nintendo has dropped even more information about the upcoming games.

First up: Galarian forms! Similar to how many Pokémon had their own Alolan forms in Sun and Moon, several types of Pokémon have adapted to the environment of Galar in their own way.

Galarian Weezing, who looks like a Victorian gentleman with a chimney top hat and gassy moustache (mous-gas-che?) is one of the brand new Galarian forms. Apparently Galarian Weezing suck in polluted air and emit purified air from their chimney-heads. How nice!

Zigzagoon has also made a comeback, with black and white Galarian forms that are faintly reminiscent of a badger for both Zigzagoon and Linoone.

Sword and Shield also introduce a brand new evolution for Linoone – Obstagoon, which can only evolve from Galarian Linoone.

Speaking of new Pokémon, there’s yet another- I mean, a totally brand new electric mouse Pokémon called Morpeko! Morpeko has two modes – Full Belly Mode and Hangry Mode.

When in Full Belly Mode, Morpeko is an Electric/Dark-type. When in Hangry Mode, Morpeko changes to Dark-type.

Pokémon aside, there’s also new rivals – Bede and Marnie. Bede is on his journey to become the Champion, but he also appears to have some hidden motives. On the other hand, Marnie appears to be a spooky goth lass.

Accompanying Marnie are Team Yell! Team Yell look like a bunch of rowdy football hooligans and all they want is to see Marnie rise to the top.

For more information on these new Pokémon, rivals, and Team Yell, you can watch the video below.

Last, but definitely not least, Sword and Shield have a brand new feature in the form of PokéJobs. People and Pokémon in the Galar region work together and it’s not uncommon for corporations and universities to request the help of Pokémon across the land. You can sign up for PokéJobs at any nearby Pokémon Centre.

Pokémon Sword and Shield launches November 15th on Nintendo Switch.
