Plex has brought their media streaming app to Oculus Rift and Samsung’s Gear VR. The app has previously been available only on Google DayDream headsets.
The app lets you watch media from your media server library in a virtual apartment and movie screen or drive-in movie theatre and supports features such as Watch Together and Voice Chat and Throw Popcorn. The social features are coming to the Oculus Rift first and the Gear VR headset later.
