June 2, 2025 – PlayStation’s Players’ Choice poll for May is now open. Fans can vote for their favorite new release from a packed month of launches.

May brought several big titles. Doom: The Dark Ages delivered its brutal return. Elden Ring Nightreign expanded FromSoftware’s open world with new horrors. F1 25 hit the tracks with a new physics system. Indie entries like The Midnight Walk, Little Kitty, Big City, and American Arcadia gave players more offbeat options.

The PlayStation Blog runs this monthly vote to spotlight standout releases. Only new titles qualify—remakes like Resident Evil 4 (2023) and Final Fantasy VII Remake count, but ports don’t.

Sony’s editorial team curates the nominee list based on buzz and significance. Players decide the winner based on personal pick, if you had to recommend one new game to a friend, which would it be?

Voting is now live. Once polls close, PlayStation will announce the winner on its blog and social channels.
