Today PHOTOLab 1.7 has been released. This version added five new filters:

  • Sharpness
  • Vibrance
  • Gauss distorssion
  • HDR
  • Soft focus

But the most important of them are the HDR simulated effect and the Soft focus effect. With this kind of filters you can obtain awesome images (Left original image, Right edited image):

Combining the Sharpness filter to make the image as sharp as possible, then adding a gauss distorssion filter and finally applying a HDR simulation, you can get a drawed like image like this:

But if you want, you can apply a Soft focus filter to your image, doing it a bit blurry and bright but with defined edges, and then apply the HDR simulation so you get this kind of result:

All this is possible because you can stack multiple effects to your image and configure each effect with the config gear available below it:

Also, in 1.7 version we lowered the space required for the app from 50Mb to 19Mb, improve the performance in Low Memory Devices and added some new photo frames for kids.
