PDP have announced their new Faceoff Deluxe+ Audio Wired Controller, a Nintendo Switch controller that’s all about making communication clearer.

Due out in summer 2019, the new controller features support for Vivox’s integrated in-game chat. It’s designed to make talking to your teammates easier, especially in Fortnite.

The Switch currently really isn’t that good in terms of voice chat, with a mobile app being the current only way of using voice chat online. You can read the overly long instructions here.

Luckily, the Deluxe+ Audio Wired Controller offers premium game audio via a 3.5mm audio jack and patented on-board audio controls that allow you to adjust your audio from your controller.

There’s also two additional programmable buttons and an interchangeable faceplate, meaning you can switch up the look of your controller however you please.

No setup or installation is required, either – you just need to plug in the controller and your headset and that’s it!

Similar to the other controllers in PDP’s Faceoff range, the Deluxe+ Audio Wired Controller allows for easy faceplate swapping. Each controller also comes with a 10-foot (yes, 10 foot!) fixed USB cable and responsive low-friction metal analog sticks.

At launch, the controller will be available in Red Camo and Purple Camo, both of which look extremely lovely. At a price tag of just $24.99, this controller is definitely a bargain for any Nintendo Switch gamer.

Pre-orders for the Faceoff Deluxe+ Audio Wired Controller open in May on the official PDP site.
