Pandora is adding a new Premium Family pan to compete with the likes of Spotify and Apple Music in the US.
This new plan will set you back $14.99 a month, and will allow up to six different users access tot he service. With Pandora premium, users will now able to gain access to all of Pandora’s regular features, as well as a new “Our Soundtrack” which puts together a playlist that takes account of the tastes of all the Pandora family members.
It goes without saying that Pandora will face competition from Spotify and Apple Music, but Google also has a strong competitor in the space with YouTube Premium which offers access to both Google Play Music and ad-free YouTube as well as the new YouTube Music service.
Pandora users can upgrade to Pandora Family Premium either in the web or mobile app on their smartphones.
