Have you ever wanted to spend a date night in a beautiful city with your favorite Overwatch hero? Well, all your dreams are about to potentially come true, because Overwatch’s new map is set in France’s romantic capital city: Paris.

The official Overwatch Twitter announced that players can soon be “whisked away to Paris” on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. There’s no word yet on whether the map is just an elaborate ruse for a Hanzo dating simulator, but we can hope.

If you’re not too hot on your Overwatch lore, all you need to know is that it was a site of ‘civil unrest’ during the Omnic Crisis and Widowmaker apparently used to live there.

An article from Polygon goes into further detail. Paris is an Assault-style map, meaning players are tasked with attacking or defending several objectives, and it will be available in both quick play and competitive mode.

The article also says that the map has “narrow streets and corridors”, meaning players will have to fight in close quarters and possibly also do that awkward-half-step-half-jog you do when you try to pass someone in a corridor. Paris (map) also borrows several locations from Paris (place) such as the river Seine.

While there’s currently no definite release date for when the map goes live on PC and console, Paris is currently rolling out on the public test servers. Although, given the romantic theming, we can potentially expect the map sometime around Valentine’s Day.
