Microsoft has pushed out a new update to the Outlook Mail and Calendar app for Windows 10 to the Release Preview Ring, taking it to version  17.9001.21485.0

The update mainly brings improvements to the Mail app UI, with the following changes noted by ALumia.

  • Unread mail will now be highlighted with a new font.
  • Improved layout for threaded emails, with changes to the arrow icon and other small changes to the interface.
  • A new Outlook for iOS and Android item in settings (presumably to convince people to use the same app on their handset).
  • Several improvements to the list of messages including changes to the swipe right and swipe left items and the organization of messages.
  • Other minor changes.

The update is now available to Windows 10 Insiders in the Release Preview Ring and should presumably roll out to regular users shortly afterwards.
