Orange Executive On Windows Phone: "it hasn't been as successful as we expected"

In an interview to CNET, Yves Maitre, Senior vice president of devices and mobile multimedia at Orange said that Windows Phone didn’t met their expectations so far. He revealed that Windows Phone is the lowest -selling platform on its network behind iOS, Android and Blackberry. He also added that depending upon the Nokia Windows Phone devices, Orange will decide on investing in the platform and by next MWC conference, they will come to know about this matter. He commented that,
“If Nokia/Microsoft is not successful in Europe,” , “then it will be tough in other countries.”
But Orange remains cautiously optimistic that Nokia’s brand appeal will pay off.
When you have a Nokia phone,” he said, “it’s like you’re driving a Mercedes Benz.”
