Microsoft yesterday released a new update for OneNote for Android app with a couple of new features. First, the Office Lens experience is now integrated within the app. This will allow users in scanning, cropping, and rotation of photos, documents, whiteboards, and business-cards. Second, users can now press and hold the OneNote icon to quickly create different kinds of notes. This feature is supported only for Android devices running version 7.1 and above.

Microsoft has also added the ability to sign in to OneNote using just your phone number with this update. Apart from these new features, this update includes bug fixes and performance improvements.
