Microsoft today released a new update to the OneDrive app in Windows 10. The update brings support for previewing 3D models in Windows 10, and that’s about it. The update doesn’t include any other new features apart from the usual bug fixes and improvements.

  • You can now preview 3D models on a PC.
  • Bug fixes and various enhancements.

Support for previewing 3D models in the OneDrive UWP app will simply allow you to view a 3D model in the app without actually needing to open up the app which is pretty neat. The feature is probably part of Microsoft’s work on integrating 3D into Windows 10 which is going a step further with the upcoming Fall Creators Update later this year.

You can get the latest update for OneDrive, version 17.24.0.0, from the Windows Store below.
