Microsoft has released a new update for the OneDrive app for iOS. The update isn’t anything major, meaning that it only adds some minor new features and improvements. With the update, Microsoft is adding the ability to access your organization’s files with SharePoint Server and 2016 support. Additionally, Microsoft has added a new single sign-on feature to the app which will let users sign-in very easily into the new SharePoint app for iOS, which was released today as well.
Here is the changelog:
- • Access your organisation’s on-premises files from your mobile device with SharePoint Server 2013 and 2016 support. Open and edit all of your most important files – even offline. Note: This is only compatible with Windows authentication (NTLM) and Forms-based authentication. Talk with your IT admin for more information.
- We are also excited to announce the release of Microsoft SharePoint for iOS. To help you get started, we have introduced single sign-on integration between both OneDrive and SharePoint. The SharePoint app is available now!
- Following your most important sites is now just one tap away.
To get the latest update, head over to the App Store.
