OneDrive app for Windows 10 updated with new video playback experience

OneDrive app for Windows 10 got recently updated in Microsoft Store with new video playback experience. This v17.27 update now allows users to play a video in the background. They can also use “Skip forward” or “Skip back” controls to quickly move through a video. Microsoft has also added new keyboard shortcuts for the newly added video controls.

  • Skip back by 10 seconds, while playing a video in the OneDrive player : Ctrl + B
  • Skip ahead by 30 seconds, while playing a video in the OneDrive player : Ctrl + F

This update also brings the power of the Delve to Windows 10 devices allowing you to discover the files that interest you. If you use OneDrive app with a work or school account, you can try out this feature. This new Discover view in OneDrive app will help you discover new, relevant files based on the intelligence of who you work with and the content that you work on.

Finally, this update also includes bug fixes and reliability improvements.
