Official Viper SmartStart app now in the Windows Phone Store

Viper has brought its SmartStart application to Windows Phone.

The service uses special hardware, the Viper SmartStart module,  installed in standard cars to give users remote control of their car’s ignition, and with the app allows:

• Lock/arm
• Unlock/disarm
• Remote car starter
• Trunk release
• Panic or car finder
• Aux channels

The free app also includes a SmartPark parking spot finder, parking meter reminder, and guest membership in Viper Motor Club.

When installed with the Viper security system you will also receive push notifications or text messages of your Alarm is activated. With a compatible home security system you can even do the same for your house.
