Official Baku 2015 European Games app in the Windows Phone Store

Europe is falling in love all over again with the venerable Eurovision Song contest, and now another new multi-national event has sprung up to help keep the continent united.

The 1st European Games is an international multi-sport event for athletes representing the National Olympic Committees (NOCs) of Europe. It is scheduled to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from 12 to 28 June 2015, and will feature more than 6,000 athletes from 50 NOCs competing in 20 sports.

As with everything these days the event comes with an app, which fortunately is also available for Windows Phone from the get-go.

The Baku 2015 app provides all the latest news and up to date information for the European Games. Watch all the action in live video, and get to know all about the sports, venues, results and the 6,000 athletes who will compete in Azerbaijan.

The app also features information about the host city of Baku through the dedicated social media section, Big in Baku. It lets you share video highlights, pictures and emotions at the tap of the screen.
