Office Web Apps have been made available to users worldwide now. Users can enjoy viewing, editing, and sharing Office documents in Skydrive, Microsoft’s personal online storage solution and also in Hotmail, when docs are attachments. So all you need is a browser and an internet connection to access your document. Here is the announcement from Office team,

The Office Web Apps are now live in 18 new countries in Central and South America, including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

Last but certainly not least, rollout to Central and South America marks our global grand finale, making the Web Apps available worldwide in more than 190 countries – just nine months since they launched on June 7, 2010.
