The Verge reports that Microsoft has confirmed that they will be releasing the new Office Touch suite to users running the Windows 10 Mobile Technical Preview.

The Office Touch suite is much more powerful than the built-in Office Mobile in Windows Phone 8.1, featuring nearly the full power of the desktop Office suite.

Microsoft Office product manager Julia White confirm that the update will be made available in March this year.

It seems likely that the suite will be made available with an update to the current Windows 10 Mobile Technical Preview, which should also make the update available to more devices. Currently only a few devices are supported, with all high-end phones being excluded due to a “partition stitching” issue. There is rumoured to be only 60,000 Windows 10 Mobile testers at present.
