Microsoft is currently in the process of rolling out the new July 2017 feature update for the Office apps on Android. The new update brings new features to PowerPoint and Word, but they are not anything major, and while the changelog in the Play store is not very informative, from the earlier Insider updates we know what’s new in the productivity suite.

First and foremost, you can now copy and paste with formatting into your documents which means if you are copying a text with a different font or text color, pasting it into Word will retain those formatting. Microsoft is also adding the ability to set custom margins for Word documents, which is something a good amount of users were missing on the app. And lastly, Word now lets you search and copy text on PDF files with the latest update.

Excel adds a numeric keyboard to help with number entry. As for PowerPoint, Microsoft is bringing comments to the app which will let you add, edit, delete, and reply to comments in your presentations right from your smartphone once you install the latest update.

You can get the latest updates (version 16.0.8326.2034) for Word here, Excel here, and PowerPoint here.
