Another HTC HD2 update for “enhanced music stability”

I had not known that the HTC HD2 has a problem with the stability of the music application, but if that issue is plaguing you HTC has a patch out which might solve the annoyance.
They have released an update, available here, applicable to all ROMs 1.73 and lower to “enhance the stability of the music application” which will hopefully also address the more common issue of music skipping.
The update is a hotfix which should not delete apps or data, but as usual a backup is advised.
