In the above video, while never actually going into details, Nokia compares the Nokia Lumia 920’s audio recording performance to that of the HTC 8X and Samsung Galaxy S 3.

Due to the High Amplitude Audio Capture Microphones of the Nokia Lumia 920 the handset is able to capture the full range of the sound without the distortion seen on the other handsets.

The video is a good demo, but I think Nokia could have injected more of the “science bit”, and explain not just how, but why the device is better. Do our readers agree? Let us know below.
