We recently reported that Nokia might be planning to launch a new phone with 5 lenses. Dubbed as Nokia 9, the device was rumoured to launch sometime this year.

However, a recent leak revealed that the Nokia 9 might make debut during MWC 2019. The device is supposed to come with top of the line specs and 5 lens camera on the back. As usual, the lenses will be designed by Carl Zeiss. With the latest leak, it’s at least confirmed that Nokia is working on a penta-lens camera setup. As for the specs, Nokia 9 might come with Snapdragon 855, at least 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. However, do note that these specs aren’t leaked and might not be true.

That said, it would interesting to see how companies like Apple and Samsung respond to the penta-lens camera phone by Nokia. A special mention should also go to Google has been sticking with single lens camera and rely on software to add touches to the photo.
