Nokia’s long-awaited Maps app has popped up in Marketplace, noticed by wpxap.com.

The app claims to provide:

Nokia Maps helps you to be a local anywhere you go. See where you are and discover places nearby in a snap. Get reviews, uncover new destinations and reach them with smart routing for public transport, walking and driving.

.. and appears as if it will be available world-wide.

The app also includes detailed point of interest lists, with short description, user submitted photos and reviews.

I am sure we will see the app properly announced at Nokia World on the 26th October.  The only question which remains is if it will be available for other Windows Phone 7.5 handsets, or Nokia’s devices only.
