The Nokia Lumia 920 has Nokia’s trademark ClearBlack screen, which improves daylight visibility by reducing internal reflection, and also has a special super-bright mode when in bright sunlight.

In the above video some Polish journalists get to see the performance of the technology when compared to the Galaxy S 3 in simulated bright sunlight.

The video shows that the NL 920 is somewhat more legible than the GS 3 in bright light, but I suspect the camera was not able to fully capture the full magnitude of the difference between the two handsets, especially when one considers the GS 3 has an AMOLED screen.

Thanks Joe for the tip.
