WindowsBlogItalia have posted these comparison shots of the Nokia Lumia 720 vs the Nokia Lumia 920 in low-light conditions.
Nokia does tout the camera in the Nokia Lumia 720, which is 6.7 megapixel and has a F1.9 lens for better low-light picture quality.
As the picture above shows, they seem to have succeeded, with the Nokia Lumia 720 picture (first) looking nearly as bright and actually more natural than the Nokia Lumia 920 picture below.
It is only when one zooms in that one notices that the Nokia Lumia 720 picture has more noise and less detail, which is of course somewhat expected from a phone in that price range with a lower resolution.

The full-resolution crops above in particular show that more detail is preserved on the Nokia Lumia 920 than the Nokia Lumia 720, but that the later device does not do a bad job at all.
