imageNokiaPoweruser.com reports that the Nokia Lumia 820 and 920, which launched yesterday in India, is off to a good start.

Major retailers like UniverCell and Sangeetha confirmed that both Lumia 920 and 820 were seeing excellent traction with a UniverCell store manager telling them it was outselling all other flagship smartphones.

The  Sangeetha store was sold out of both Lumia 920 and 820 and told NokiaPoweruser that Lumia 820 stock was exhausted even before Lumia 920 supplies.

Nokia also had a nice present for Indian buyers, with the handset being released with the latest version of the OS, Firmware 1232.5951.1249.1001, pre-installed already.

That means no waiting for WIFI Keep Alive, better stability and improved camera performance.
