No Official Windows Phone NHL Game Center App coming for 2013-2014 season

Bad news for hockey fans. The developers of the Official NHL Game Center app, Neulion, has revealed that they have no plans for an official NHL Game Center Windows Phone app for the coming season.

The news is an interesting contrast to the recent news of the NFL app, which by all accounts is pretty excellent , coming to all Windows Phones, and one wonders why the one company found the Windows Phone market worthwhile but the National Hockey League did not.

Hopefully by 2014 enough Windows Phone users will be in the market that the NHL will not find it so easy to overlook the demographic.
