officeOne of the known issues that really stands out in the latest Windows 10 Mobile technical preview is the inability to open Office files like .docx or .xlsx files.

Microsoft writes:

The Office Hub has been removed from this build. You won’t be able to open Word, Excel, PowerPoint or OneNote files in this build. Preview versions of the universal Office apps will be available in the coming weeks.

I think this fundamental issue may be a deal breaker for many who would otherwise workaround the not being able to deactivate their data connection for example and other smaller issues.

Of course we can look forward to a much more powerful solution in a few weeks, but is this issue giving some of our readers second thoughts on getting the new Technical Preview?
