Hello Games today confirmed that No Man’s Sky will debut on Xbox this summer and will bring a massive update with it. Named as ‘Next’, the update will be the biggest update till now. The company, however, hasn’t disclosed what new is coming in the update so we will have to wait for the roll-out.

We called this update NEXT, because it’s an important next step on a longer journey for us and the community. We’ve been working our socks off on this and it’s by far our biggest update so far. It will be free to existing players, and we’ll continue to support No Man’s Sky in this way for the foreseeable future…

We’ve learned a lot over the last few years, faster than we would have liked! I’d love to avoid talking completely and just make things people can play, but we knew this was going to leak anyway, and I think it’s news that should make a lot of folks happy.

With the update, the company is also releasing the title for Xbox One and will include the game with all the three updates namely, Foundation, Pathfinder and Atlas Rises. The game will support extra enhancements for Xbox One X like 4K and HDR.

The dates for both the Xbox One launch and update roll-out are still not decided but we hope to hear from Hello Games soon. In any case, No Man’s Sky didn’t made a great first impression on PS4 so we hope things will change with Xbox One release.
