Microsoft will be announcing a new generation of Surface tablets and laptops next month, and now one of those devices may have been spotted on Geekbench.

The device, ‘OEMJL OEMJL Product Name EV1.5A’ has a similar naming scheme as the Surface Go also recently spotted and features Intel’s latest 10th generation Ice Lake (Intel Core i5-1035G1) CPU that runs at 3.60 GHz with Turbo Boost.

It is not clear exactly which Surface was tested, though given the specs (Core i5 processor, 8 GB RAM) it seems likely to be the Surface Pro 7 or Surface Laptop 3.

The new Surface devices are finally expected to sport USB-C ports. It is unclear what other innovations Microsoft will be announced on the 2nd October.
